The resurrection/disaster/calamity.

What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour?
|
|
What a shocker!
|
|
ماالقارعة
|
|
What (is) the resurrection/disaster/calamity?
|
|
|
|

And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is?
|
|
KHALIFA:Do you have any idea what the Shocker is?
|
|
وماادراك ماالقارعة
|
|
And what made you know/informed you what the resurrection/disaster/calamity (is)?
|
|
|
|
Wamaadraka maalqariAAatu
|

| 4. * |
(It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about,
|
|
That is the day when the people come out like swarms of butterflies.
|
|
يوم يكون الناس كالفراش المبثوث
|
|
A day/time the people be/become like the butterflies, the scattered/ravished
|
|
|
|
Yawma yakoonu alnnasu kaalfarashi almabthoothi
|

| 5. * |
And the mountains will be like carded wool.
|
|
The mountains will be like fluffy wool.
|
|
وتكون الجبال كالعهن المنفوش
|
|
And the mountains be/become like the wool/dyed wool, the carded (ruffled).
|
|
|
|
Watakoonu aljibalu kaalAAihni almanfooshi
|

| 6. * |
Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy,
|
|
As for him whose weights are heavy.
|
|
فاما من ثقلت موازينه
|
|
So as for who his weights became heavy.
|
|
|
|
Faammaman thaqulat mawazeenuhu
|
| |
| 7. * |
Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction.
|
|
He will lead a happy (eternal) life.
|
|
فهو في عيشة راضية
|
|
So he is in (an) acceptable/approved life/quality of life.
|
|
|
|
Fahuwa fee AAeeshatin radiyatin
|
| |
| 8. * |
But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,-
|
|
As for him whose weights are light.
|
|
واما من خفت موازينه
|
|
And but who his weights were reduced/lightened.
|
|
|
|
Waammaman khaffat mawazeenuhu
|
| |
| 9. * |
Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit.
|
|
His destiny is lowly.
|
|
فامه هاوية
|
|
So his origin (is) Hell/destruction.
|
|
|
|
Faommuhu hawiyatun
|
| |
| 10. * |
And what will explain to thee what this is?
|
|
Do you know what it is?
|
|
وماادراك ماهيه
|
|
And what made you know/informed you what it is (E)?
|
|
|
|
Wamaadraka mahiyah
|
| |
| 11. * |
(It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely!
|
|
The blazing Hellfire.
|
|
نار حامية
|
|
(A) hot fire.476
|
|
|
